Not only is the iPhone getting its third-party cherry popped, the Helio Ocean is now running third-party apps now as well. The first proof of concept app is Opera Mini, the smallish browser from Opera that lets even lousy phones browse like a star. To get it to work on your Ocean (even though the default Ocean browser is just fine for us), just follow the directions on Heliocity. After you're done, you may want to check to see how you can support them to get even cooler apps on the Ocean. [Heliocity]

The "heliocity" link points to your iPhone story
The Heliocity guys rock for doing this.
Here's the correct link: [www.heliocity.net]
Getting it's "third party cherry popped"...damn...that's some editorial license you're showing there...
thanks to the fellas at heliocity...google maps was getting kinda loney seeing as I'm a pretty cheap bastard
The Ocean could always run 3rd party it just needs to be coded in WIPI Java [used in Korea], I've been running 3rd party games on mine for a while now, no big deal.
I want one of those phones so badly, but would have to pay a hefty cancellation fee if I were to switch. Someone, please, talk me out of wanting a Helio Ocean. Thanks. :)
We have started loading the Opera Mini in all our of our Helio Oceans for free. You can check it out at www.heliobuy.com . It's a must have browser and with the installation, it's a snap.
