    Nintendo Revolution GUI: First Look

So if you didn t already know, Nintendo is planning to make the Revolution almost universally backward compatible. They are doing this by offering a downloading service. IGN has some glimpses of one of the possible GUI mockups and some information how this downloading service will work. Right now there are three consoles being proposed: the NES, the SNES, and the N64. Within these services you will have the option to rent or purchase the game, but additionally they will possibly offer a program that allows for one monthly fee to be paid that allows for unlimited rentals, similar to that of Gamefly, minus the snail mail. Note that the designs are just initial mockups. Check out some more photos after the jump.
