One look at this Runco plasma display brings us a little closer to thinking that plasma really isn't dead yet. But you'll pay for this magnificent 65" screen with its 1080p resolution, because this set cost $19,995.
Runco made itself famous by making intricately-engineered and finely-crafted projectors, and keeps up that grand reputation with this plasma display and its richly saturated colors. It has a serious contrast ratio going on, too, and no-nonsense Runco doesn't bullshit you with a lot of crazy contrast numbers—just taking a look at it told us we were looking at an HDTV set that deserved our respect. Now we'll just wait for that price to come down to about $5,000, and we'll pick one right up.

Whenever I see a television that costs more than 5000 dollars, I simply look at Sony's badass 1080p projector thats under five grand. 100 inches plus and 1080p and under five grand? Come on! If I had the money I'd get it right now.
$5000, lol if they want to really sell that sucka they better think about $3500 because plasma's are about to take another huge price dip
and with all the other models selling for that like phillips 63'plasma coming out in june for $3500 they are going to have their work cut out for them..
$3500? That'll get you the outboard scaler for the Runco. Gotta pony up if you want the best...
wow, they can build a $20,000 tv, but they can't keep a web site up...
