Trekkie Spends $15k on DIY Star Trek Home Theater

It's one thing to model your home theater after the command bridge in Star Trek, but it's a completely different ball game when you build it from scratch all by yourself. Yet that was Gary Reighn's goal back in 2002 when he first started working on his Star Trek home theater. The finished project looks impressive. He's got a Sony 720p LCD projector, a 7.1 audio set up by Polk, a Yamaha receiver, and a Philips Pronto remote to control the whole set up. Even more impressive is the fact that he only spent $15k on the project, which when compared to other home theaters ain't bad at all.
