Hey lay-deez! Don't you just hate having a big ol' ugly computer that doesn't go with your clothes? No, because you aren't stereotypical and shallow? Well, don't tell the makers of the Tulip Ego that! It looks like a mix between an old iBook and a purse, but it's really a Windows laptop. You can change the covers to suit your mood, from frivolous to easy and everything in between! Sure, it doesn't have diamonds like it's $350,000 big sister, but you already have enough diamonds.
Or you could get a regular, gender-neutral computer that probably costs less and performs better, but hey, I'm a dude, what do I know? I mean, it's only sold at Barneys, so it's gotta be a sensible purchase.

Isn't dumb girls an oxymoron?
Damn for those with more money then brains. 5k for shitty notebook PC with with stylish skin. Give me a custom modded Macbook any day...
OK, for the last time, the possessive adjective "its" does not include an apostrophe. "It's" is a condensed version of "it is" and *NOTHING ELSE. Please make a note of it('s)...
It'c cute, but looks like a piece of crap... and would clash with everything I own anyway!

"A fool and his money are soon parted."
Proverb
Enough said.
@deadhouseplants:
I assume you mean redundant, not an oxymoron. Unless you mean to say all girls are smart.
It looks like a clamshell mac.
The pictures on the website are so Mac-ish, lacks originality.
"dumb girls is redundant"? come on, are you eight years old?
akyiba - it DOES! Only thing missing is the beard.
not sure, but i believe "it's" could also be considered proper for shortening "it has"
but this is the internet - no one cares
please don't correct my use of the hyphen in place of the proper ; and for not capitalizing my sentence fragments.
Five thousand dollars.

Nutbastard:
I care.
For the record, I'm with JMDe. I'm tired of all those spelling/grammar-challenged typers out there.
Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm all for stylin', but I'm just tired of seeing peeples confusing there/their, its/it's, too/to/two, etc.
D'ya have any idea how stupid it makes ya look [at least to those of us who know better]?
[rant off. back to the topic... uh, what was it? some kind of power station?]
Seeing as how people have been overpaying for Apple stuff for years now, I don't see how this is any different than spending $499 on an iPod or $699 on an iPhone. It's just not as trendy.
I always wanted a Tulip notebook... the time I first saw them, their specs weren't horrid.
I don't want to coat my handy dandy notebook in stickers, so a changeable cover would work. Of course I'd keep my behemoth of a notebook for power, but a pretty one would be nice for dragging around and showing off.
Perhaps I'd buy and install a nice copy of Linux XP on it...
Yeah. Right. I'll install a hardcore Linux distro on it.
...soon to be seen at Junior League/Cotillion meetings nationwide. :p
I think I might sue Ego for ruining my reputation as an intelligent female by implying that I might want to something anything even remotely similar to what they sell.
Looks like a toilet seat cover. Sort of like those Apple notebooks from awhile back.
/me whips out enormous brain and beats deadhouseplants to death.
Smart boys - take notice: great gadget for dumb girls whose dumb boyfriends will by buying this for them on B-days and Valentine's Day.
Nice to see Frucci accusing someone else of being shallow and stereotyical - pot meet kettle. Since you haven't bothered to use or touch one of these machines in person, I will tell you that it is a high-end powerful system that performs great. You might be a dude but you're still a bitch.
What's up with people believing technology oriented girls should not like girly stuff like pink hearts and fluffy case mods? Like it's 'less'.
How is the above any less than say... Alienware? (And no, people who buy Alienware don't buy it for the specs, they buy it for the looks.)
I understand that the males who commented "Eww, pink girly stuff = cooties!" don't quite get it. :-) But the females? Girls, you can have your cake and a pink cellphone and a heart shaped laptop to match it, too.
I for one am happy that there are gadgets out there with soft round corners and bright colors instead of the same old box-shaped silver/black stuff. Yay for girly stuff!
(I'd totally buy this laptop if it weren't so overpriced :)
