    Dell Readies D620 and D820 Laptops

    Take heed, UK computer aficionados, for Dell is launching the Latitude D620 and Latitude D820 (pictured here), two slim laptops with Intel Core Duo processors. The biggest difference between the two models is that the D620 features a 14.1-inch WXGA wide aspect screen while the D820 is blessed with a 15.4-inch WXGA wide aspect screen; both come with 512MB DDR2 RAM, a 40-GB hard drive and integrated 802.11b/g Wi-Fi. Additionally, both systems come preconfigured to accept 802.11n, the upcoming Wi-Fi standard that is 40 times faster than 802.11b. Prices start at a little more than $1,400.
