Intel Making Even More Efficient Chips for UMPCs

Intel's just announced that they're going to release a processor especially designed for UMPCs. Unlike laptops and tablets, UMPCs really, really emphasize portability (it's even in the name), so a super-low-powered 45nm processor makes sense.

Whether this will be dual-core or single core or how much L2 cache it'll have is still up in the air, but anything to make UMPCs (like the pictured Samsung Q1) more battery efficient and less suck-tastic is good in our book.
