Rather than sending your kids outside to exercise, why not just modify their video game addiction so it requires a little bit of physical exertion? That's the idea behind this Jet Ski Simulator video game. Featuring "realistic 16-bit graphics" (ha!), it'll make your chubby little offspring bounce around on the inflatable Jet Ski all day trying to figure out why the hell he can't play his Xbox 360 anymore. This modified Super Nintendo with an inflatable controller will set you back $70 and the respect of your children. How can you go wrong? [First Street via Coolest Gadgets]

saw a family purchase this just this saturday the kids looked psyched and asking if it can float ... doesn't sound very good
you knnow, jet skis don't actually qualify for real exersice.....
why not get your kid a kayak (if you're near water of course)? It's a lot of fun, it's a great workout and it doesn't involve the idiot box.
@zjgz: Nor does "bouncing" last time I checked.
@SchruteBuck: Bouncing counts if it's the reverse cowgirl.
I have to agree: this does not resemble exercise at all.
How about tying their Wii/XBox/PS1,2,3 or whatever they're hopelessly hooked on to your freakin' bumper, and let 'em chase it as you speed away? That'll get some calories burning!
We got one of these last Christmas at Kohl's on a whim. It sucks. Sucks massive amounts of ass. Neither of my kids can stay perched on the seat, so they just fall on the floor. It doesn't have nearly enough support to hold even a small adult. The handlebars detach after even a moderate turn. So we just threw the inflatable piece in the trash and ended up with a jetski game with mediocre graphics that hooks up to the TV. Stupid concept executed stupidly, with extra ineptitude thrown in as a bonus. Thank god it was cheap.
Are you tired of nagging your kid to drop the PSP and get some exercise? FirstSTREET has you covered: they're selling a video game with an inflatable jet ski so your kid can experience all the thrills of jet skiing without getting his feet wet.
