Remember when we told you Led Zeppelin was coming to iTunes in November, but only as a 24-track sampler? Well, that song did not remain the same. Page and Plant (and Jones, if he has a vote) decided that they will release the entire catalog digitally, and not just through iTunes. Starting November 13, all Zep albums will be availalble from all all online music retailers, plus over-the-air downloads on Verizon Wireless. That sure is a whole lotta love. [Reuters]

"hole lotta love", heh
I read that Jones didn't have a vote but he gets 20% off any Zep downloads on iTunes.
does that mean it will be on Amazon's DRM-less mp3 site?
Only matters if they release material not available anywhere else. I already own everything on CD or Vinyl.
Anything that leads to new Led Zeppelin listeners, listening to more Led Zeppelin is a good thing.
Too many of the young and hip don't seem to recognize the greatness. It's a musical travesty.
/grumpy old man.
Who cares? They're 10 years late and 10 years from the grave.
Yes they were amazing (Bonham + Jones = maybe greatest rhythm section ever).
And yes they stole a lot of their music from american blues artists (just something to keep in mind).
@chai714:
Who cares???
Damn you sir! - Led Zep are a pinnacle of rock & roll, and as such should be given much respect.
iTunes is going to introduce a whole new generation to their musical genius, and that's a great thing.
Maybe it will inspire a wave of future musicians who can actually play, sing and write.... well, we can hope!
Boo, you could have gotten at least 2 more Zep references in there ;)
Yes,but will we these songs be able to be purchased as ringtones for my iPhone?
If your conscience hits you, knock it back with pills...
@chai714: curb your youthful tongue, 'fore you know it YOU'LL be saying "Breaking Benjamin has released their albums online, woohoo" and a new crop of dillywackers will be saying "10 yrs old and 10 yrs to the grave" to YOU, young whippersnapper. RESPECT that which came before, and contributed to the quality of life you now enjoy, for without respect you'll face a life of hardship and impenetrable walls.
peace.
