We have received obligatorily blurry cameraphone shots of an unidentified wireless object by Belkin. According to the guy/girl/chipmunk ninja who sent it, this black box is some kind of High Definition video transmission thingie:
Found this new device, taken straight from within Belkin Skunk works (booyah!). Don't know much about it, but it's a wireless HD product—supposedly one out of a line of new media extending products that Belkin's working on... Rumored to be shown at CES. Probably costs around $700 or $800.

So there you have it. Black box. Wireless. Crystal-clear high definition video to be shown at CES. Unlike the stupid shots. When are all these wannabe spies gonna get some actual good cameraphones? [Thanks Abe]

700-800 bucks?!?! Seems a bit high for a set top box or streamer...
$700 is a lot of money to give a company who manufactures their products to die right after the warranty expires.
A couple years ago I had bought a Belkin wireless G router and 2 wireless G USB adapters. All 3 died after a year. The adapters died within days of each other and the router died 2 months after.
Funny this is pictured above a HD-DVD player. Downloads will win the war between HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. But $700 is way too much for the privilidge of streaming content. Unless it is a set top box with a hard drive and an intuitive UI that lets you store HD content ala TiVo.
Can't say the same thing though. I bought a Belkin wired router/firewall 4 or 5 yrs ago. Still works perfectly fine. Can't say I know how to port forward on the damn thing but hey as long as it still works i ain't complaining.
This is a wireless HD streaming device, similar to the Apple TV. The price is high last I had heard, from inside sources at Belkin, was that ti would be around $300
Looks like a an hdmi switcher to me... dont believe the hype!
It's not a simple switcher - check out the "antenna" portion on the top of the device (on the right, if you still can't see it.)
...Believe the hype!
It appears that Atari's PONG team designed the digits on the unit.
