InFocus and Lightspeed Design Group are acnnouncing the InFocus DepthQ, an affordable 3D DLP projector that looks to me like a tweaked X2. It's not a solution for everyone—the 3D format are limited to "VESA VGA, page flip, stereo 3D format," and it requires the wearing of LCD shutter glasses—but it looks like many NVIDIA cards will support it, as well as some games (I'm not sure how much of the load is lifted by the video card driver and how much, if any, is done by the game). Still, it's cheap, at around $3,500, and uses solid Infocus technology. The only thing I can't determine is if it comes with a pair of shutter glasses or not (it looks like it doesn't).
