Dell's gone and posted a teaser site for its upcoming One all-in-one PC, complete with cryptic trailer only showing parts of the machine. The suspense is killing me! Or at least it would be if we hadn't discovered all sorts of pictures of the thing on the FCC website a couple weeks ago.
Dell's answer to the iMac will officially be arriving on November 19, and, as we reported before, it'll sport Intel Core 2 Duo, 1000:1 contrast LCD and a 3.5-inch, with a maximum 300GB, HDD, and an optional TV tuner. No word on pricing as of yet, but we will, of course, keep you updated. [Dell]

Yay Gizmodo... :D
wow that video was complete crap. Why have a touch pad if you have a mouse? And if I wanted a huge ass border on my LCD I would be a LCD thats also a tv. Not a dell. I don't own a mac, but the imac is way more sexy then this ugly thing. This looks like some crap sony would sale and call a computer.
Better contrast ratio thatn the iMac. It only has 300:1. Lame!
That actually looks good.
Also, well done commercial.
@j4sk868: Yeah, but the iMacs are priced in the $2000 range. The base price on Dell's M2010, which looks a lot like the A2010, was $3,500. Granted, the M2010 is a laptop/desktop hybrid, but the specs are pretty close what we see here and I don't think its battery was worth a grand.
The computer looks hot, the commercial... not so much.
yuhuuuuu an iMac!!! a few years later
Yeah, but will it come with Vista or XP?
@ianmac47: Will it come with OSX Leopard?
why would i want a pc that isn't very user servicable?
Man, the iMac is such a rip off the Osbourne 1. Why does Apple even bother?
Idc i just want sick ass, fast as gaming system, decent screen, quality parts, decent speakers, and that accelerator thing built in so i can convert videos faster.
Man,no matter how you slice it, Windows machines sure are ugly.
A maximum of 300GB as a BTO option? Sucks. The iMac offers 500GB max on the lowest end model, 750GB on the slightly more powerful 20" and 1TB maximum on the 24" models.
@tetracycloide:
Small footprint compared to a standard PC, and better ergonomics than a desktop-replacement laptop.
i kinda like it. 22", TV tuner and blueray drive.
i would use it as a TV in my bedroom (if there-s a good pricing).
i know garage band clips so well. It uses one of them at the end of the video. One word: Amature.
Umm, why is the reflection of "beautiful" backwards? I think someone in creative forgot to flip horizontal when putting the commercial together. That being said, im so f'ing tired of grayed out reflections of typefonts. It's modern, we get it!
Am I the only one who recognizes the little tune at the end of the trailer as a loop from Garageband? Yes the iLife, free with all macs, simplistic music creation program.
It is 100% unaltered and everyone should check out the options under electronic loops in Garageband if they have it.
Doesn't matter, you can't pay me to buy a Dell!
I have come to find out, that most if not all of their machines with the black cases have "Time Bombs" in them.
Their Optiplex 280 series starts fan racing after a few years (we have a few hundred of these) requiring a bios upgrade to stop the "Air Plane" mode. Their Inspiron 8200 Laptops randomly loose processing speed, 9 times out of 10 on bootup the computer is running at near 100% and thats with a fresh Windows install.. I could go On and ON, but it is apparent Dell is not what it used to be!
@Loremaster101: I feel for you.
