Lenovo is making a bigger splash into the LCD monitor world with the D221 "budget" display. Being a budget display, it touts some pretty nice specs including a 1680x1050 native wide resolution, 700:1 contrast ration, 300cd/m2 brightness and a 5ms response time. It will hit the market overseas in December and likely to come stateside in the following months. This "budget" machine isn't very budget-y at all with the $460 price tag—at least compared to today's Dealzmodo. It is two-inches bigger, and to some, two-inches is humongous.
