    Uber Media Center Roundup

What I love about Cnet is that they sometimes do the heavy-lifting for us common folk. Take this roundup of "elite" media centers from specialty vendors. These are the sort of companies that filthy rich folks can call on the phone and have a service rep custom build them a media center with terabytes of storage space and all manner of ports on the backside. Then the company sends a tech to your McMansion to install it. The warranty isn't so hot, and the PC components aren't bleeding edge either, but anyone spending this kind of money on a so-so media center will probably replace it with something that has even more storage space in a couple of years anyhow.
