Everybody's Got Something to Hide 'Cept For Me and My Mousey

Here s a mouse with its own little secret compartment. The M-D7UR Stealth Wireless Mouse from Elecom Japan is aimed at road warriors, with its USB receiver conveniently stored in a trunk-like compartment that opens using a sliding mechanism on top. Even though the mouse doesn't look particularly ergonomic, at least it will be equally comfortable for left- and right-handed users. Powered by a single AAA battery that the company says will give you 88 hours of blissful mousage, the M-D7UR is no slouch when it comes to resolution, racking up a respectable but not revolutionary 800 dpi. Although the picture above makes these mice look small, they're a normal-sized 4.25 inches long by 2.32 inches wide by 1.46 inches tall. The $40 mouse will be available in blue, orange, red, silver, black and white, and ships in February.
