This A1Pro keyboard isn't that useful for us, who can type just fine with the standard QWERTY keys, but is incredibly useful for, say, Chinese people who want to write characters the way they're used to writing on paper (typing takes a lot longer to learn). The keyboard looks normal on the left, but instead of a numpad, it has a smallish glowing tablet. If we ever wanted to write in Chinese—which we haven't done in about 14 years—we'd pick up one of these for $25.48. [Dealextreme via Crave via Gearfuse]

Yay for right-handed people. Still sux to be a southpaw like myself.
It would be useful though - if its compatible with applications like paint or corel draw -
can we draw using the pen on this thing ? like a mouse?
@Geisrud: Don't worry, lefties still have their primary purpose in life: someone to burn when the crops fail. I kid, I kid!
Wonder what other things this pad could be coaxed into doing besides writing ideograms?
I suppose if I float you'll call me a witch
One would hope with this type of device you could do many of the things one does with a tablet (e.g document markup, but not large drawing)
So, can it be used as a drawing pad like that bamboo one earlier?
@GEISRUD Yea all the right-handed people get all the cool stuff. But remember, the will always be true...
If the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then ONLY left-handed people are in their right minds.
Oh and the "keybored" is nice
