    AeroBase Incoming-Call-Aware Mouse Pad

The AeroCool AeroBase takes the "LEDs in everything!" concept a step further by delivering a mouse pad that can flash in as many as 15 coordinated sequences. While having a blue, flickering glow emanating from beneath your sweaty palm will likely serve as a distraction, the pad has the "feature" (or side-effect) of blinking when in proximity to a ringing cell phone, so there's at least that. While other glowing pads have been available for some time now, the AeroBase is the first I've seen to react to an incoming call. Still, I'd prefer the tranquil color washes of the Flexiglow that ThinkGeek offers. Both pads are powered by USB, naturally.
