If you've ever used a webcam, you know how awkward it is to fake looking people in the eye when you're staring at the screen instead of above it. But with SeeEye2Eye and its periscopic technology, you can look at someone's mug while looking at the webcam simultaneously.
SE2E uses mirrors to refract the image from your screen up to where the cam is. It costs $99 and works with laptops plus most regular webcams. If you're a camwhore, it's definitely worth a look.
Plus, Now you'll never have to hear "My eyes are up here!" from your sister again (while using the computer).

$99 for a set of mirrors? For me to drop a Benjamin on a webcam I would want a built-in LCD preview screen.
Nice concept, aweful excecution...
I though of this before, (believe it ot not) but I always though it would be too inconvenient. (And my design was way slicker and smaller)
So after Apple got a patent for the sub-pixel camera built in between the LCD pixels (the right way to do it) my idea made no sense...
Then again, this crazy contraption is $99 ??? WOA ! may be I should patent mine.
damn, that's hoopty.
Its a teleprompter!
Can you use it as a mini-teleprompter?
Wow. That thing has a huge footprint. Kinda steep for an obese pericopic teleprompter. Even more so since they make you pay for the teleprompter software seperately.
For that price you should be able to get a webcam with an LCD attached to it. Great idea, it's about time, but very poor execution.
Wow, what a compelte waste of money and screen realestate. Couldn't they make a webcam with an lcd, one that preferably wouldn't look so much like ass?
If your sister has ever needed to say that to you . . . well, I won't say which state of the Union you must be from, but we all know.
