Why hide your nerdiness from the world when you can walk around town in shoes inspired by that movie of movies, Tron? From Addidas and available in the UK for £65 (about $122), these shoes—officially called The Stan Smith Comfort—won't give you special superpowers or anything, but then again, neither will that "Pwned!" shirt that you constantly wear. Apparently, the tongue shows a picture of Tron and the evil Master Control Programmer on the footbed, but you wouldn't know it from the pictures that Adidas supplied.
Are they worth importing all the way from the UK? We guess that depends on how much money you have to waste, as well as your level of self-confidence.

Must. By. These. (Fortunately, I live in the UK!)
Oh, and there's a matching track suit top - but this kind of sucks.
this looks like something that a 5 year old would wear and show off to his classmates...
Okay, I'm reasonably sure that it was just a "geek test," but I'm nevertheless obliged to correct the submitter: It's the Master Control Program, not Programmer. Unless the tongue features the wiry good looks of David Warner in a plain business suit, the MCP is a CGI character and an actual computer program. Duh. Goddamn it. There's nothing like Tron to bring out the geek in people. Except Star Trek. And Star Wars. And probably Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, SeaQuest, ReBoot, Teletubbies, and science club meetings, too.
Add Dungeons and Dragons to this list and Stargate :)
Hey. I am a five year old. Couldn't you tell by the way I spelt "buy" incorrectly? I read about these two months ago, and have been eagerly awaiting their arrival ever since. ;o)
A buddy of mine bought these in NYC, so they are available here. And they're even cooler than the pictures suggest. Check Soho.
Woot! This is part of the Adicolor series. I saw them in Taiwan. I could swear they were a worldwide limited release. Hmm. I guess not.
