Man, you guys love to Photoshop David Pogue. I received over 100 entries to my challenge to make the NY Times tech guru cool, and it was a lot of fun going through them all. Mr. Pogue himself offered to send autographed copies of whichever of his books the top 3 winners would like, so look for a post about determining a top 3 later on. Until then, here are the best 24 entries as judged by me in no particular order. Sure, I'm not an unbiased judge (both entries with my picture got in, not just because I'm in there but also because they're the most insane), but I'm all you people have got. I chose entries that were either technically amazing or funny with some effort shown, even if the skill wasn't all there.
Now, seriously, stop sending me Photoshops. I've seen enough Pogue in the last week to last me some time. It's not that you aren't adorable, Dave, but a man can only take so much.

As much as I'd like to vote for the Terminator as my favorite, Pogue as River Tam just makes me EL-EM-AY-OH.
I hope Pogue is writing you a check. If not, can I be the next guy to be photoshopped into a bad ass? It won't help my kids to respect me, but there is this eight year old paper boy that kicks my ass whenever he sees me, and maybe that would help.
Gizmodo Rules! Man. I just had everybody around at work wondering why I was laughing so loud. My favorites are the Knight Rider and the Biggie & Tupac & David. HAHAHAhahahaha!
Terminator is my vote.

i've gotta go with the group on this one. the photoshop work in the terminator picture is the best, and it makes david look like a real badass... if only i could've found the picture of fonzie jumping a shark on his motorcycle.

I think the most skillfull/creative one is the King Kong Mashup, it's flawless.
What makes all of these folks think David Hasselhoff when they see Pogue?

Kramer was NEVER cool. That show was overrated and the proof is the complete flop that Michael Richards carreer has become (even before his little outburst.
I'm with shred on this one, lol. I'm assuming mass amounts of Fonzie/Pogue mashups were sent in. But I thought mine came out pretty damn good, so I want to share it with the Gizmasses.
