Apple iPod shuffle in Color, Like 1GB MP3 Playing Skittles

The iPod shuffle is now available in pink, green, blue and orange but it still costs the same: $79. The tiny 1GB player is still available in its original silver color, too.

Just got off the phone with Apple reps, and they think that the shuffle's color and price make it something you can accessorize with. We were already digging the shuffle when it was just available in silver. We'll take one in green. More pics:

You know, i've never seen a shuffle in real life, so I didnt know how big, or should I say small, they really were, but you know, there is such a thing as too small!

Got my wife one of the silver ones for Christmas and she absolutely loves it... and she's not a gadget person. I'm hoping she doesn't see these because she'll be pissed she's stuck with plain old silver...

Ooh, ooh... you can color-categorize your play lists and such... or use the color as a way to match your music tastes with others wearing the same color... or maybe that's better done with a teddy bear... what... someone already took that idea? rats.

This is one of the best products I've ever owned from Apple. The design seems reversed, however, to what is intuitive. If I clip it on the left, like I want to, then the controls are upside down for me.

I think they are actually made for women's jackets since they cross over the opposite way.

The mobiBLU Cubes have been around for the last couple years, and came in colours from the start. I love mine. Sorry, but in terms of tiny mp3 players, I'd pick a full-featured one with display, FM tuner, and mic over the shuffle any day, even though the Cube is -being a cube, obviously, thicker than the shuffle, and slightly more expensive. Maybe get an iRiver S10 or N11 next.

The cool thing about this is that I can buy one of these to run with, so I don't have to strap my video iPod to my arm. My arm is about as wide as a video iPod. Oh shit, I'm falling for their ploy!!! I don't even own a video iPod yet!
