Mini Review: Wolverine MVP 9120 PMP

Don't get too excited about the Wolverine MVP 9120 portable media player, because we've tested it and it s pretty much a hunk of crap. Sure, its world's-largest 120GB hard drive captures your attention, but then when you notice that it's incompatible with lots of video formats, it feels positively huge in your hand in its user interface is nearly unintelligible, your enthusiasm quickly deflates into a negative state. It's frustrating, too, because the thing is feature-packed, with a 7-in-1 memory card reader, a smallish 2.5-inch color screen and a video-out port. But at a retail price of $600, its oversized price perfectly matches its oversized girth. Don t waste your money.
