Chris Stephenson of Microsoft (and now CBS) fame unboxes the Zune for your enjoyment. He shows off the sleek packaging, the brown-ness, FM radio, background-changing, and Zune-iness of the device.
Oh, to be British...and also working for Microsoft. We recommend you don't look if you want to have the full impact of your unboxing.

It just doesn't look very pocketable.
For me, it'd be like going from my RAZR back to my old clunky Nokia.
Look or don't look.. no one's buying a zune anyway. It's going to be a dead product in a year.
Horatio uses an iPod. He tried Zune but the direction controls were... murder.
umm...no, not everyone loves the radio. that's why i bought a damn ipod in the first place, so i don't have to listen to crap radio.
Did you know that Game Stop will be carrying Zune? That's pretty weird.
The "everybody loves the radio" comment is a load of crap and most people couldn't care less if it has one or not. The point of owning an MP3 player is to be able to listen to *your* music and not commercial crap.
On the other hand, I sort of wish MP3 players had AM tuning... I do enjoy talk radio!
Unboxing stuff is lame. why do I want to watch somebody else either open something I do want and don't have yet or don't want and don't care about?
Giz, for somebody's sake, stop with the unboxing stories.
True dat bigTrue. It's like they said in grade school. If your going to bring something special, you'd better bring enough for the whole class. Unboxing would be bearable if I had one of my own to unbox at the same time.
Brown is lame. There's a reason nobody else sells brown gadgets. It's the colour of you know what.
I vote in favor of the unboxing stories, folks, including this one.
I can't afford to purchase these gadgets (damn kids), so I have to live vicariously.

"umm...no, not everyone loves the radio. that's why i bought a damn ipod in the first place, so i don't have to listen to crap radio."
So when something has radio, that means you absolutely "have to listen to it?" You dumbass.
This thing is not only enormous, it's enormously ugly. What the hell were the "designers" thinking. This thing is going to be a raging failure which will make all of the "hype" (read: I think Gizmodo is the only site actually excited about this thing) absolutely a waste of time.
the main navigation control looks like the underside of a suction cap. cheap looking, but at least it wouldn't attract as many scratches as an iPod....
Well, they almost always include an FM radio, which is completely useless to me (enough so that "FM-only radio" is a turnoff). Sorry, but I want an AM or AM/FM radio because I want local news (on the AM band).
