Ebay didn't like presales, but has no problem with sale of the actual consoles.

How much PS3s are selling for on Ebay: $1500 and upwards of $5000, in different states of bundle.
Ebay auctions that didn't meet minimum bid: $2000 and below
Outrageous auctions: $10,000 to $99,999,999.00

UPDATE: The auction for $99,999,999 was taken down. I think that on top of the violence, we'll see lots of mail fraud, but also, I think people are starting to see how ridiculous it is to pay this much for a console. Even if people are willing to stand around in the rain for it, overnight, and it does have supercomputing capabilities. –Brian Lam
