    Plen Skating Robot Now a SK8R Boi


    We first heard rumblings about Plen the skating robot going on sale in Japan for $2000 last summer. Now here's a video (that's been around for a while) of this little mechanical creature actually skateboarding and even skating around on one leg. He's surprisingly lifelike. Next he'll be doing kickflips.

    The little guy is just the right size to skate around on your desktop, and you control him via Bluetooth. Soon we will be taking orders from this silicon-based lifeform. – Charlie White
