    Google Maps On TiVo

    Arthur A. van Hoff (of Strangeberry fame) has gone and released an HME program that allows you to access Google Maps on your TiVo. Almost as exciting as Google Local on your cell phone, it includes the ability to drag and zoom, and displays both the normal map and satellite views. The Home Media Engine for TiVo requires a bit of know-how to get running, but you can find more info on it here. Beware that TiVo's HME Java software may cause your host computer to reboot at random, though. It's the TiVo® way.
