Physics was one of the few subjects in college we didn't fail (with English, Math, Philosophy, Psychology and Philosophy rounding out the list of ones we did), so we take exceptional interest in this iPhysics game. Just use your finger to create new objects that you can fling around inside your iPhone/iTouch using the game's built-in physics engine. It's no ragdoll getting hit in the nuts (one of my college programming projects), but it'll pass the time on the can. [Installerapps]

Thats a pretty cool little app. It would be even cooler if the app could tell what way you were holding the iPhone and have the objects fall accordingly.
Exactly what I was thinking. I waiting for them to flip the iPhone at the end of the video and see everything fall down...
Tempts me to buy an iPhone >.>
Its just a port or knockoff of the Crayon Physics game that has been around for the PC for years.
Nice to see creativity in naming once again...
So did you fail Philosophy twice or was that just a by product of failing English?
So you failed math but NOT physics? Sounds fishy (like maybe your physics 101 was a joke).
That'll be fun for the first five minutes. And maybe a few after that when you show people, assuming you have friends to show it to.
Its not an iPhone, its an iPod Touch!!!!
@CharlieBlix: and @yertle:
It does that! When you open the application, choose the "sandbox" option. Objects fall according to the accelerometer, but as if through syrup.
Also, you can anchor objects. They will rotate around the anchor point according to their weight distribution.
Put a hot naked asian chick on the screen with the same functionality and I'm sold.
@tande: I failed it 2, maybe 3 times, so what I wrote was semi-accurate.
is this available on installer.app?
@Sloth: It is if you add this - [iphone.r4m0n.net] - to your Installer sources list.
@itchytooth: Change the gravity to - 500 and it works better

I know! And the way they tried to sneak one that by!
I mean, iPhysics' description in the installer says "Halfway to a Crayon Physics clone" ... How would people who had never heard of Crayon Physics know that this is a Crayon Physics clone? The audacity!
well its a good thing I get to read about the iphone everyday, or else I might actually be able to keep my sanity. I have games on my phone too, if I record it and put a soundtrack will you post it on here? no probably not, you have to have a touchscreen for that. Rip off of crayon physics. The crayon physics song is better.
Crayon Physics!
it is called "Crayon Physics". The app name is iPhysics, but in the app you can run either "sandbox" or "crayon physics"
You passed Physics but failed Math?
hey.. i added " iphone.r4m0n.net " in the sources, and nothing showed up.
i got it.. iphone.r4m0n.net is wrong, u gotta put iphone.r4m0n.net/repos
What is that music?
The music is Satisfaction by Benny Benassi
Does it use the accelerometer?
This is exactly what the Giz asked for when they featured the Crayon Physics game back on Nov 16: [gizmodo.com]
Wow... hey, since you guys magically get your wishes granted, lets wish it starts raining iPhones, eee PCs and gadget tradeshow booth babes! Pronto!
