When Canadian researcher Dr. Kunio Komiyama first rolled out his solar toothbrush, its light-gathering titanium dioxide rod must not have released enough plaque-busting electrons. Now the good doctor has announced the updated Soladey-J3X, which he says "packs twice the chemical punch compared to the original."
To use it, you'll need to brush your teeth in a well-lighted place, because there's a solar panel sticking out the end of this toothbrush, collecting those electrons that are transmitted to its business end for their bacteria-killing duties. The toothbrush is now being tested; there's no word on when it might hit the market or what its users might do for dental hygiene on cloudy days. Just kidding—it works with ordinary indoor lighting. Color me skeptical.
Show me non-anecdotal evidence that a toothbrush with "plaque-busting electrons" does a better job than a toothbrush [sans "plaque-busting electrons"].
Its true. My brother-in-law's sister got to use the prototype. She also got to use the beta version of their hover-boards from Back To The Future 2.
does this thing actually do what it claims (i take it that it is supposed to be able to do its worth at the same level of quality that a regular tooth brush with toothpaste would) or is it just bs?
my favorite toothbrush of all time was the one that was on gizmodo (or was it digg? probably both) a little while back that had some special groove built into it that allowed you to shoot the water from your faucet upwards, providing that you had the groove facing just the right way...i really wanted to get me one of those...
Again just like the stupid solar powered battery chargers - use hand power and crank it ...I know most of you WoW enthusiasts have built up muscle in your hands.
