Well, there ya go... Merry Christmas to me.
Good grief... how many times is Giz going to change the layout and L&F of this site?!? Is that Monk green? The vertical layout of the individual posts is awful - save that for people using PDAs or something... my 23" monitors can handle the horizontal layout and I can read more posts without scrolling. Your "web master" needs a day job.
Good grief... it's changing in real-time.
I'm logging off before this turns into a virus.
why green?
@huygir: I think they are trying to match some stupid Xbox 360 theme. but, they are not running it on the main site. they need to fix this.
@huygir:
how much have you had to drink tonight?
Civil War lives on!
ps-for everyone else, lay off on the BD vs. HD war, me thinks it will end eventually. Buy a up-converting 1080i/p player for now, and everything else will reveal itself eventually
@huygir: I'm with our drunk friend. Selling ads is great but Giz needs to stop being a css whore.
Gah!
My eyes… the goggles, they do nothing!
I agree with everyone else here. STOP FUCKING MESSING WITH THE GODDAMN LAYOUT!
whew...i said it.
*runs away*
oh, and what the hell is up with the "flag" and "reply" things being INSIDE the post frames?!? ok, this is just ridiculous.
I guess I'm not really seeing the "flag" things either inside or outside the frames. And ditto on the CSS harlotry. Please don't ban me again!
And it just changed in real time. Again. I rescind the first half of my previous comment. The whoredom still stands.
This is really weird. The "flag" and "reply" things only move after you've commented. It would be real swell if they didn't use the site as a sandbox, but seeing as I'm commenting by their good graces, the only thing I can do is deal with it. I still love you guys!
...back to the post, if this thing can play multi-region dvds, I'm totally there. Does anyone know if there are multi-region blu-ray players as well?
As a matter of fact, I'm looking into a dual-format player myself, so this seems very interesting. I'm a little worried about the time it takes for the device to boot up. Could anyone clarify the reasoning behind this for me?
