    TiVo Now in Canada... Kinda

At long long last, TiVo will now be available to our cousins to the North, who have long gone without the sweet bleeps and bloops that is the TiVo experience. But... there's a catch. You can't actually buy the TiVo units in Canada — Canadians have to purchase/import the TiVo DVRs from the U.S. After they receive their DVRs, Canadians will be given "special instructions" to follow under step 1 of the activation process. And if they break it... tough. TiVo will not ship warranty replacement boxes to Canada, only to U.S. addresses. Yeah.. maybe sticking to that MythTV setup would be better.
