This video shows some really serious Transformers enthusiasts and their homemade costumes, some of which are really impressive. It's entertaining, and it's good to watch now before Michael Bay brings his vision to the big screen, which may or may not take a steamy dump all over our beloved childhood memories. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm not optimistic.

That was so geeky and so awesome. I'm ashamed to say I enjoyed it.
I'm not ashamed at all, it was very very enjoyable!
Well, except the first guy who couldn't reel in his butt enough for the tank to look right, LOL!
That was sick in a good way, I liked the Cement Truck, Prime and Starscream. They were of the hooozook.
I continue to be impressed with people's passions coupled with their ingenuity.
Yes, that was sincere.
That was cool!! Nerdom at it's finest. Have any of you seen this one: [www.youtube.com]
that Optimus looks even better than the movie one :D
sick and nerdy anyone say? well, thats the way we like things around here outsider
BOOM...
Oh, it's not an iPhone post.
No, that was pretty cool. Come October you'll be able to buy them at Walmart.
that was the most awesome thing this Monday.
Nerds, with too much time on their hands, but it was soo cool!
Starscreamer was not at his best but optimus prime and Mixmaster rulled!
That optimus prime costume would be great for hallowen
Well damn, that was cool.
Prime definitely took the cake. Mixmaster, Bonecrusher and Starscream doing the veritech hybrid thing were all cool. The First guy which appears to be a G2 Megatron was a bit weak.
I painted a cardboard box red with foil windows one year for Halloween. Man I'm proud of myself.
Oh man, i dont know whos nerdier, the guys in the costumes or the people taking pictures.
Aaaaaaaaaah! it was awesome tho!
I think that what we just saw will be better than Bay's version. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to pay for the therapy once he rapes my childhood in the ass.
@ BigPanda:
Rape?, there's gone be nothing left to tell the story!
strange and cool at the same time. the net, blogs and youtube let us peer into some interesting things. people really amaze me.
These are the guys that you laugh at. But secretly, you want to be exactly like them. Think, we can run from our enemies.
"Quick! Over there!"
"Where'd he go?"
"Iono, there's just a bulky firetruck roughly the size of that dude."
ZOMFGWTFBBQ!!!!!!!!111111111
Seriously, I'm a huge transformers fan and that was the sickest video EVAR.
I agree, that video is probably better than the entire Michael Bay movie.
It amazes me that nerds seem to be so ashamed of being nerds and of other nerds. Whenever we see anything wicked which happens to also be very nerdy, we always have to say, "What a nerd! But cool!". I wonder what's up with that.
Anyways. Very very cool.
Awsome.
Don't really want to say any more than that :)
That was so fricking cool!
Seriously Bay, if a real live human can fit into something that looks that good as a transformer, it should be possible to do it in CGI.
There must be something wrong with you if you go to meetings like these with your cardboard suit. But there are so many of them! They'll take over the world!
So if i get this right, you go to a party dressed as a transformer and you just take turns transforming back and forth. (pausing occasionally to laugh at the guy transforming in the tank outfit.....)
If you can tell me how to get beer to the inside of the helmet, where do I sign up?!
Two metallic thumbs up!
If all the constructicon guys were there, and they all hopped around like a bunch of monkeys and combined to form Devastator all while making the pee-paa-pee-pew-pew-chunk noise, now that would be something.
Perhaps the coolest Nerd-Fest event ever captured on film. Very nice, but Tank-dude needs a few more yoga or pilates sessions to get his scene together.
I am so highly amused by this. They're so geeky they're cool and I'm glad I live in a time where that's sincere.
