It looks as though the Treo 750 will cost Cingular customers $100 less than they might have anticipated if the wireless carrier's Web site is to be trusted. The eagle eyes at Mobility Today noticed a $100 rebate for the Palm smartphone that's valid for both the model with and without a camera. Palm Treo 680: You Care, I Eat Crow

I said I didn't care about the new-ish Palm Treo 680 that seemed to be little more than a colored Treo 700 with a few tweaks, and its antenna chopped off. Against my judgement, many of you voted that you were excited for the shitty little budget smartphone. I feel sorry for you, because you are wrong to care. Palm Announces Low-End Treo 680

As expected, Palm has just announced the low-end Treo 680 for GSM markets sold unlocked in four colors: crimson, copper, arctic and graphite. In non-marketing speak, that's red, orange, white and silver. Each of these phones come with a 320x320 color screen, 64MB of internal storage, 312MHz Intel PXA270 processor, quad-band GSM, EDGE class 10, speakerphone, VGA camera, 352x288 video recording, and a full QWERTY keypad.
