    Sony Ericsson Releases Limited Edition James Bond K800 and K790

    Sony Ericsson's pumping up their upcoming Sony Picture's James Bond flick, Casino Royale, with some limited edition James Bond phones. Despite the fact that these K800s and K790s are old hat and James Bond should be using top-of-the-line gear (Q needs to read Gizmodo more!), they are pretty nice handsets and work on dual-mode UMTS (K800) and tri-band EDGE (K790). The phones will come with some wallpapers, ringtones, and themes all tying in with the new movie. More »

    Sony Ericsson Intros W850 Walkman Slider

    The emphasis is on music with the Sony Ericsson W850 Walkman phone, the company's first GSM/UMTS slider. Equipped with the Walkman Player 2.0 which Sony touts as "easier to use," it also includes Gracenote Mobile MusicID, a service that lets you record a few seconds of a song off the built-in FM radio or with its microphone, and then you send that clip to the Gracenote worldwide music database which tells you its title.
