Sony Ericsson's Swag Box Arrives at Giz HQ
Sony Ericsson sent over a test bed of phones that can be imported or bought from sonystyle.com. Some of the phones are familiar from shows like CTIA this spring, but we could stare at these beauties all day so I don't mind recapping the contents and taking fresh shots. More » -

Random Van Halen Video: Sony Ericsson's TrackID Can Name That Tune
I just won't shut up about Sony Ericsson's new phones, so friends at Dynamism sent me a W880, their flagship Walkman. The best thing? Not the slim case, but the extremely useful TrackID system. Basically, you can play this phone a song, and it'll take a sample by microphone, compare it to digital signatures on Gracenote, and come back with track, artist, and album info that you can save for later or send to friends. This phone can name that tune. And, it works well. More » -

Sony Ericsson w880i Hands-On Gallery
[Updated Image] We've never seen Sony Ericsson's flagship W880 as close as this, and I think these photos finally show off the finer points that make this phone special. By specs, it's not tops: Its 9.4mm body can't touch the Samsung Ultra 5.9. The 1.8-inch screen is sharp, but not quite big enough to feel stunning, and its 2.0 MP camera is overshadowed by the Sony K800's 3.2MP. More » -

Up Close with the Sony Ericsson W880
So now that you've leered at our gallery of the W880, check out Shiny Shiny's video tour of Sony Ericsson's lust-worthy 3G phone. Aside from its physical good looks, the phone also comes with SE's Walkman 2.0 software, which lets you keep track of songs, album art, and buy new tunes via an online store. There's no flash accompanying the 2-megapixel camera, but that's a small dent in an otherwise near-perfect phone. More » -

And UMTS 2100, GPRS 900/1800/1900 make it officially quad band. Available in "selected markets" in q1 2007.

Sony Ericsson W880 Ai is Reed-Thin
More pictures surfaced of the upcoming Sony Ericsson W880 Ai cellphone, and these are a little better than the in-the-wild shots we showed you before and the concept renderings before that. The Swedish site where we found pics these says the phone will roll out in that country on February 6th. More » -

Leaked Sony Ericsson AI W880 Photos
Here are more of those next gen Sony Ericsson phones. But for the first time, the photos are sharp enough that we'll consider em real. The rest of the facts are, well, not very forthcoming. But the source speculates the phone will be dubbed the W880, a follow up to the competent W850 and W810 Walkman phones: the cellies I credit SE's turnaround with. We spy a very 3G video conference cam on the front, too. This means we'll likely have to beg and plead for a US model. More » -
