The PlayStation 3 Bundled With 3 Games, 1 Bible

Somewhere in Poland, there's an unofficial PS3 bundle floating around with Ratchet & Clank, Gran Turismo Prologue, Ridge Racer 7 and...The Bible?

Pismo Swiete Stary/Nowy Testament translates to "Sacred Scripture Old / New Testament." And while The Bible would make for one hell of a brutal video game, it appears that PS3 owners will need to settle for the written version in this latest bundle.

But given much of the world's deep ties to various religions, maybe packaging under-performing consoles with a variety of holy texts wouldn't be the worst marketing scheme. After all, there is no Official Game System of Jesus Christ yet (at least in this generation of consoles). What are these people thinking? Are the people in charge of product synergy more than occasionally enjoying the products they're synergizing? Perhaps. Or it could be that in Shanghai reader Charles' neighborhood, they're just making loose associations between these two types of creams. No matter; the Nivea probably tastes rich going down too. You can get a free retractable USB mouse with the purchase of good 'ole Johnnie Walker Black Label (it is Scotch whiskey for those unaware).

I'll be the first to admit that I have gotten plastered and proceeded to get online and harass individuals via IM (ask Brian or Jason), and this combination will make the harassment that much easier.
We aren't really sure where this one came from, it looks like one of those warehouse stores like Sam's Club or Costco, but nevertheless it makes absolutely no sense. I have seen Anchorman a few times and I remember no funny jokes or anything related to extremely cheap digital watches.

It really looks like the shrink-wrapping job was done in-house. Maybe a manager decided to pair up everything in the return bin for a whole slew of weird combos. Thanks, Dave. Travis Hudson

Kelton from Albuquerque sends us today's Weird Combo of the Day he found at a local Macy's store: It's an iPod car kit that includes a free watch spangled with the cheapest rhinestones this side of the Rio Grande. How tacky!

This should be an especially grating entry into our pantheon of combo-weirdness, especially for those Gizmodo-reading sociopaths who begin to foam at the mouth at the mere sight of a wristwatch.

Anyway, what will those zany marketers think of next?
