Woz and Kathy Griffin NOTMAYBE Hooked Up?

[UPDATE: I took a pass, noting inconsistencies. - B.L.]Turns out the rumor of Kathy Griffin fondling Woz's apples were a bit off, according to Adario Strange. He's proudly skeptical of the whole thing, pointing to a Page Six post that he claims says the two have never met. But reading the Page Six page actually says the contrary. Adario, which is it?

Did Page Six swap the text on you, or did you not read carefully enough? We'll update when things clear up.
And if you thought the idea of Kathy Griffin getting ahold of Woz's personal D List was weird, take a look at this video of Apple's co-founder in a Datsun 280-ZX in the early '80s. As a fan of the Z, we can see why Woz did it. [Wired]

Update: Adario gives us this explanation in an email:

The Post never referenced the Contact Music report, it just reported that the two 'planned' to meet at some point. But if you look at the Contact Music report that everyone linked to it sounds like they are already dating when, according to their PR people, the two haven't even met.

It still doesn't really clear things up.

I...am lost. WTF (who, not what) is Woz?
I am assuming someone from Apple...but am not entirely sure being, um, I dont keep up with shitty...well I dont want to say shitty, I am just not accustomed to Mac/Apple schema. I give a lot of grief to the Mac OS just because I am not used to it, however, I am not consoling Microsoft either. I use MS, I fix MS, I scorn MS with their tedious updates and heavily hacked OS', but that's the price of capitalism baby!

@michelinman85: Um, Woz is the guy who, single-handedly, invented the personal computer as we know it. He created the Apple I and the Apple ][ from scratch, the first computers to feature a keyboard to enter data and a monitor to look at said data.
His innovations are responsible for the advent of color monitors (and newer color TVs) and he even created the first software-based video games.
So, yes, he founded Apple with Steve Jobs, but every PC manufacturer (and user) owes him a huge debt.

He (Woz) then went on to perfect the pop-up turkey timer, certain still-secret Cold War dry-cleaning technolgies and created the world's only profitable full-service vomitorium. Also he is the only man who ever sucessfully wooed Princess Punyheart of Ice Moon Baladabus IV.

And all before Apple. You never read about that stuff though. Weird.

@Cobolman2: I specified that he invented the personal computer as we know it in the beginning of the comment--I maybe should have clarified that the other stuff applied to the same. Though, it was the first computer of any kind in which you could use a standard television set as your monitor, rather than specialized monitors costing thousands of dollars.

I always liked Jobs better than Woz, because Jobs was played by Noah Wyle in the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley, and he invented the mouse during what could be the most innacurate LSD dramatization in movie history.

Second of all, yes I am very ignorant of Woz, third, I am not ignorant of Google, I just was too lazy to even waste my precious breath and time on the subject...I would rather have one of you supply the information for me. Though it looks as though I have done more work by preparing the previous and the current comments, I would much rather waste my time on Gizmodo than anywhere else...As far as Datsun is concerned...I liked the cars, I hate the purpose, my ninja is faster, and the actual purpose of the comment was to provide a small glimpse of my comedic sarcastic bastardism.
