Photoshop savant and Deviant Art member Elemental79 is back with another mind-blowing timelapse as he turns a screenshot from the 1994 16-bit classic Super Metroid into a high-res work of art.

Technically, the screenshot he started with was actually assembled from multiple in-game screenshots with the addition of a few sprites so that it had a more modern 16x9 aspect ratio, and all the characters he wanted to enhance.
