<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on Bethesda Looking Into Fallout 3 Leak]]> I wouldn't get a pirated copy of this game only for the possibility of it not being a complete bug-free version.

I'll buy Fallout 3 and play it only when I have a computer with enough specs... don't wanna ruin the experience.

But I also have no problems with digital distribution. Love Steam.

<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on Why Goichi Suda Brought Beer To The Interview...]]> Taking that discussion out of context, I'll say a word that summarizes the whole deal: Speculation.

For those who think announcing a game, or saying about the stuff you're working on before having concrete stuff won't affect the market... the global economy is going down the sewers because of stuff like that.

There are advantages and disadvantages of making early announcements. It's risky, and can even bring a whole company down in case something goes wrong along the process.

Developers can usually work better without people asking them 24/7 about the game itself.

And then, comes the fanboys issue. Those idiots who think they can tell how the creators should do their jobs when they don't know jackshit about it.

On the other side, there's hype, publicity, and some other stuff.

So, yep, it has to be the developers decision, and an important decision at that.

From what we've been following, Diablo 3 for instance, could end up being a completely different game had Blizz annouce it earlier.

<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on See Diablo III's New Wizard Trailer]]> What makes me most hyped about the game is.. gameplay.
The cutscenes, the fact that the wizard seems to be in slow motion or floating sometimes, and her rock-solid face... yep, not as fluid or as good as some other games.

But doesn't matter to me. Because the gameplay still looks awesome!

<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on Numbers Behind the War on Piracy Could Be Completely Bogus]]> Of course those number are BS... almost EVERYTHING on the anti-piracy propaganda is BS.

They will also never say how much piracy has contributed to make some stuff popular.

Like games... the most lucrative entertainment industry nowadays.

People have to ask themselves stuff like: Where would Playstation 2 be without piracy?

Why consoles that were "pirate-proof" (or almost) ended up failing?

If the music, movie and gaming industry are having such big losses every year, why the heck they continue to grow so much and didn't collapse from those losses already?

You know, there's a limit to all those lies, a limit to how people are willing to believe all this crap.

The most sucessful business nowadays are the ones who learned to accept that piracy is here for a reason.

So artists, labels and companies who chose to adapt their business models to newer types of distribution, with FAIR prices and none of the "piracy is bad and only bad" bs are the ones who are having the most success right now.

Shure some people loose jobs over this, but lots more have jobs because of it, no matter how wrong selling pirated stuff may sound.

For every one guy that is not working in some "official" business, I probably can count hundreds of people making a living, yes, selling bootleg CDs and DVDs. I know this is bad for the company that holds the copyright to the product, but it is the truth that anti-piracy "Coalitions" will never tell the public.

You know, I don't like the fact that some people are ripping off other's idea... and I know that some small business may even close down due to piracy.

But I can't close my eyes to the good effects of piracy too. I know several industries gained A LOT because of piracy, I know piracy helped several products to reach FAIR prices because for a long time they had profits up to 2000% the production cost (Music CDs), and I know many poor people who would never get jobs in "official" industry are able to buy money for their kids in the end of the month because they found a job on the piracy market.

If those groups opened their eye for the harsh truth: That piracy will NEVER end, and started working on other ways to make the original products more attractive and worth buying instead of the pirated version, they'd be loosing far less money by now.

As for Woody Alen, dunno if it's just me, but he looks even older after the shop.

<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on The Booth Companions of Tokyo Game Show 2008]]> Very nice... but is it just me or the pics are kinda crappy? Cellphone quality or something.
I mean, no offense... dunno how was the conditions inside the event to take pics or what the photographer used to take the pics.

Anyways, this is exactly why now I want so much more to get at TGS rather than any other gaming event out there.... the event quality. And the girls too.

<![CDATA[Bokusatsu_Tenshi commented on Awesome New Prince of Persia Trailer and Screens]]> Liked the music and trailer, but somehow, don't think they mix up so good.

Shaky cam is forgiven, but maybe you should consider getting (or making) a steadycam Brian...
Not joking or moking the camera skills, but a homemade steadycam would help a lot in that situation.

I mean, if you were able to take one there, since it's kinda big, heavy and clunky.
