But wtf with all the filled in cubbies? I have shelves, too, but they, you know, hold books.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on One Kid's Journey On a Weed-Whacker Broom Skate Thing]]> I believe "weed whacker" was originally a model name for a string trimmer, as was "weed eater". A string trimmer, I suppose, shortens into strimmer, though as was said before, a weed whacker tells you exactly what the thing is.

That's definitely a girl. And it could be a shopped picture, because I see some reflection in the background area, like it was taken though a window. Though if it were through a car window, then you would see the refelction and the blur, even if the girl was stopped.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Best Buy's Salesmen Will Do Anything To Close a Deal]]> He isn't a regular car-fi sales floor person. He's an installer. Just waiting for whatever it is to come out of the warehouse. Floor sales don't wear black unless they are appliances. And he wasn't looking to see if anyone was watching, he was talking to his buddy off camera. Those cameras pan, and that isn't an angle they would keep it at, they keep it on the areas the sales people don't stand at regularly. (accessory aisles, etc) Unless they have a reason to put it somewhere else. Like, 'dude, those chics that dance all the time are back - $50 if you dance with them!'

My balls always get sweaty when I'm online...

My hands get sweaty when I play with my balls...

Yeah

]]>
<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Jupiter Mouse Offers Control Via Glorified Wooden Testicle]]> Once it gets all sweatstained and smelly, I don't think it'd be worth $130.

I wonder if it's covered against termites....

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Daylight Saving Time Jump May Actually Waste Energy]]> For asthmatics, it's more important to keep the house at a steady temerature than to turn off the AC (or heat) when no one is home, then suffer attacks for the time it takes it to get back to the set temperature.

For two years, I charted my electricity bills - one year of keeping it at the reccomended energy conscious temperature that left me uncomfortable all the time, and one year of setting it where I was comfortable. The difference in cost for those two years was $37. I'd rather pay the $37 and be happy, then save it and be too cold or too hot all the time.

I believe that much of what we are fed is pure fabrication bought by some company or other and urban legendized, or else it is something that was useful once upon a time, but really doesn't do much for anyone anymore.

Me? I wish we could fall back every time. lol

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on New Camera Can Tell Exactly What's In Your Pockets From 80 Feet Away]]> So if I coat my genitals in cocaine, then they "see" them, can I sue for harrassment? After all, what were they doing looking at my crotch anyway? Pervs.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Pure Evil: Comcastards Paid People to Take Up Seats and Cheer in Net Neutrality Hearing]]> Comcast paid people to stand in line. That some of those people actually stayed goes beyond their pay, making them members of the general public. Free Press said that they, unlike Comcast, didn't pay anyone to stand in line. And that's the whole of it. Free Press is mad they didn't think of it first. Besides, what good would having more critics there do? There was no proof that the people sleeping were not Free Press, was there?

Don't get me wrong, I'm switching from the monopoly to FIOS as soon as I can, but Free Press isn't always the nice guys they want to be seen as, either.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on 1,301 Florescent Bulbs Lit Solely by Magnetic Fields]]> @Git Em SteveDave:

When I flip a light switch in one room of my home, it makes random electronic gadgets in a 5 foot (or so) radius go off. Sometimes the smoke alarm beeps, sometimes other things. And there's a helluva static shock and pop. I dread answering the phone in my home, too. Static enough to be f-ing painful.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Surveillance Lamp Brings Big Brother Style To Your Space]]> ohh and make a remote control for it. You'd just need a directional controller and a 1, 2, or 3 selector for which one to move. And something to turn the light on and off.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Surveillance Lamp Brings Big Brother Style To Your Space]]> @bailey_ca:

Just what I was thinking. This looks to 7-11/Quicky Mart for a home.

Make it look more high speed and up to date, steel instead of plastic, make the camera housings more rounded and sleek looking...perfect accessory for your teenage girls rooms.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Water Ball Ripple Sink Makes Me Want to Tinkle]]> It looks like it would be hard to clean. The little tracks the hot and cold water flow from look like they would be quite condusive to mold. Maybe if they were enclosed in something clear, rather than just open. It also doesn't seem to have much pressure behind the water. But it's pretty. I hope they make it workable.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on 3-Year-Old Summarizes Star Wars]]> @jc2k:

Spongebob Squarepants is one of the creepiest shows on the air.

Yeah, a lot of people think that people who quickly pass judgement on others based on a 88 second glimpse of their lives should be screened for breeding, too.

I'd rather let a child be exposed to things when I am there to educate them about it, then shelter them until they are old enough to leave and be exposed to it on their own with no idea what is going on.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on Toyota's In-Car System Watches for Sleepy Eyes (What About Asians?!)]]> HAHAHA I love this thread!

Offend someone - make them think, instead of mindlessly nodding their heads and believing whatever they are told to believe!!

Ohhh - what about recovering stroke victims, who have a droopy eye on just ONE side? Would the alarm (or whatever) only go off every OTHER time? Or would the conflicting information frazzle the system causing your new Toyota to go up in flames? Seems to me that earpiece that makes a loud noise whenever your head droops is all the technology and research that idea needs. Sometimes, simple is enough.

<![CDATA[Coaster commented on An 18-year-old in Cincinnati]]> ROFL @ masser. That was spot on.

I had assumed he had headphones on, as I had a kid step off the curb directly in front of me while he had his headphones jacked up. I hope it made his heart stop for a minute, to look up and see a truck stopped inches from your chest.

But if he was just crossing...that whole 'look both ways' lesson must have missed his class in kindergarten.
