I love how on the PSP, there's those crafty little buttons that adjust the amplitude of the sound produced by the machine. It's really useful, because when you want it to be louder, you press the "+" and when you want it quieter, you press the "-". Dazzlingly genius, much better than the DS's analogue slider adjuster, which is just a feeble immitation, obviously.

I'd go as far as to say that the volume adjustment is actually my favourite feature of the PSP.

That and the thing where you twist it and it shoots the UMDs at people you don't like, or whomever is sat in front of you on the bus.

I've actually found that the iPhone is an extremely useful device.

The other day I borrowed someone's and then used it as a hammer on them until they passed out and now I have an iPhone!

I love Radiohead and yet it's SO EASY to hate Radiohead fans.

Still, that was an amazing video. One I'm sure Jonny Greenwood would be fascinated by.

I always thought that the ZX Spectrum was crap but I guess it's an OK Computer.

@da5id4vz: I live about 25 miles from the edge of London and I can see the Canary Wharf development on a clear day. That development is the other side of London.

So yes, I do expect visibility to be greater than a mile. Where do you live? Mexico City?

Those of you that are asking "who cares?" are making fools of yourselves.

Radiohead are the biggest band in the world at the moment. Bigger than U2, bigger than Coldplay (and a million miles better, at that...). So what if most massive RH fans already have their catalogue on CD? There's a lot of people who are yet to discover that RH may be their next favourite band.

On a personal level, I won't buy any of their music from iTunes as I have every song they've released filling something in the region of 1.4gb on my hard drive, and I would suggest anyone looking to acquire a similar back catalogue would search the second hand stores and browse Ebay rather than downloading

So it's bigger than Heathrow, but:

1) Heathrow is just an expanded RAF base, never intended to be a full commercial airport.

2) Heathrow has a plane taking off or landing every 30 seconds. Isn't that still more activity than this one?

You can get a nice proper Fedora for about $50. A black one looks very good with a nice black suit, but you need the cheekbones to pull it off.

Just like every movie with this much hype, it'll disappoint.

3 reasons:

1) You think it's going to be the best thing ever. Only 1 thing can be that and it's unlikely to be an Indiana Jones movie.

2) The reason there's this much marketing is because if it sucks, no-one's going to see it on word-of-mouth (Think: Cloverfield)

3) Sequels are big because people have seen previous films. If you loved Raiders of the Lost Ark, watch Raiders of the Lost Ark.

@Keebler: It's £299 unlocked handset only. That's very cheap. You can generally guess that any phone that's under about £350 (unlocked handset only) will be free on an 18 month contract.

The iPhone is the only phone in Britain you have to pay for on ANY tariff. You can get a Nokia N95 for free here.

I don't know that there's a point to building something that tall yet.

In London, the sky is the limit, if you consider that airplanes fly in the sky and that you can't put buildings in the way of them. The sky/plane scrapers here seem big enough - is it necessary to be a stone's throw away from a kilometer up?

And it's bizarre, because Mario Kart Wii isn't really very good.

I was most disappointed. I was bored of it within about 6 hours, and I can't be bothered to play multiplayer against friends because the controls are now too complicated to explain without them going "I do what with the what now?".

Mario Kart DS still has my heart. I'll always love you, MKDS!!

@rimshot515: Maybe Nintendo can come up with something. I know handheld consoles aren't really their thing but if they know Sony was making SO MUCH BLOODY MONEY with theirs, I'm sure they'd do something crazy to make theirs individual, like giving it 2 screens and a microphone (where it's at!).
