I mean what am I supposed to do if I'm coming home from Canada and they take my laptop with all my vacation photos on it? Drive three hours back up to the Canadian border the next day to pick it up? Stay in a hotel overnight just across the border? Let them ship it to me with inadequate padding and recieve it broken?

They shouldn't be allowed to look at the data on laptops period.

I never played the spiderman games, but if I'm not mistaken, in those you just fire your web up and it just magically connects to the sky or something. But here it seems like you actually have to have something to grapple onto.

And dude, I looked at your 3D art. You have nothing on the guys at CGtalk.com.

That's not a better method. That's what every amateur 3D artist does when they need a bump map, and it gives terrible looking results.

Now see, I'd go to that site, and I'd leave because "Send me a quote" says to me that the cost of having them do this sort of thing would be hideously expensive. So if I just wanted some little thing done as a consumer, I'd find another site that actually listed sample prices.

But these screenshots are anything but brown and it looks pretty sweet. Graphics-wise anyway.

I eventually did open it and play some of the multiplayer games with friends though.

Clearly what he is doing is playing a 360 game on a second TV behind him, while he waits an hour or so for that Metal Gear Solid 4 cinematic to end.

It actually appears that the top one is 25% brighter.

Here's an image which I adjusted in photoshop using the legacy brightness control to make the two bright areas on the right side of the screen (middle strawberry highlight, and cyan background) match those in the the image on the PSP above.

As you can see, the apparent difference in contrast is much less when the brightness of the two screens are equal. Also much of the lack of contrast on the top screen can be attributed to the glare on it.

You will also notice that the image in the top PSP seems to be much sharper. Look at the strawberry pits. They're much more defined on the first PSP, even in the original photo.

The color reproduction of the second one seems to be better though.

Does this judge even realise how much a game like that would make on average? Pinball games are niche. If they made $30K in profit on a game like that they could consider it a success.

The reason it is 3 wheels is not because of mileage. It's because if your vehicle has 4 wheels you have to do really expensive safety testing. If it's got 3, no safety testing required. In other words, this car could be a death trap, and not because its built light.

Dude, if things were natural, then I could just start building a home on a peice of unused land.

But as things are, even if you have $10K, you can't buy a small strip of land and just start building a home on it. There's all these codes that have to be followed, and permits which have to be accuired which can be denied for almost any reason including that your structure isn't "in keeping" with what the rest of the houses in the area are like, and there are laws which will see you forcibly removed from your dwelling if it doesn't meet these codes, or if you don't pay taxes on the land.

So either they replace the shotgun with a sandwich, which I guess is possible, or maybe... when you have the boxing gloves equipped and taunt... he eats a sandwich and that gives him health?

And ya know... it wouldn't make a lot of sense for him to do the "pow!" taunt when he's wearing boxing gloves.
