<![CDATA[JennifARGH commented on Rock Band Dated For Australia (Bonus Reasonable Pricing Included)]]> AUD$250? Now that's more like it. I think I've just put this back on my list, if it weren't for Rock Band 2 coming out shortly.

<![CDATA[JennifARGH commented on We Hope This Australian Rock Band Pricing Isn't Real (Yet Fear It Is)]]> I was really, really looking forward to this, but now I'll have to say "no sale". This is just far too ridiculous. Yes, I understand that there's a whole set of perepherals to buy, but $400 divided by now near-obsolete game, and 3 perepherals, no thanks.

$100 for a microphone!! I bought a cheap fake Stratocaster for less than that so I could learn to play a REAL guitar!

<![CDATA[JennifARGH commented on Going to Work Sick?]]> This article couldn't've come at a better time. I work as a hotel housekeeper, which is very full on; No need to go to a gym when you sweat out at work! I was expected to supervise at work tomorrow, help train a new employee, and shift heavy linen bags without decent equipment, all while blocked up with some kind of cold.

I always fear of being a let down, and often talk myself into working over 10 days in a row to compensate for others that can't work; I've done at most 17 in a row. I'm only 21 and I'm afraid I've already destroyed my spine and body from all the work stress.

The article helped me swallow my pride. A few minutes ago I called my work to let them know that I simply wouldn't be fit to work properly. To be honest, it felt good.

I'm going to be stressing tomorrow and wondering if they'd finish late or not. Then again, I'd be too deep in a cold + flu drug induced haze to know what's what.

tl;dr: Swallow your pride. Call work, get that doctor's note, and get better quicker.
