"@Plan303e: i completely agree. apple makes some nice products, but is an extremely unaccommodating, greedy company. it's depressing to see what poor business ethics companies display these days. issues like this are the reason i feel completely justified about breaching their EULA on hackintosh related projects. basically, by breaching their own contract, they're indicating that it's merely a suggestion in the first place. if a company won't follow their own contract, why should i?"
