By far, the biggest improvement you'll notice is by upgrading to a SSD. RAM will help only if it is really low. but for everyday PC, upgrading from 4GB to 16GB will be hard to notice. However, if you go from an good old hard drive to an SSD you will be astonished how much faster you PC is..
The difference between 80/20 ground beef that is made with the best parts of the cow, and 80/20 ground beef that is made from the cheapest parts of the cow, it only in taste and texture. As far as nutritional value it is exactly the same!
What attributes should I look for in a video card for editing photos and high rez video.. I assume most "high end" video cards are designed for gaming. What features and capabilities are more important for what I need?
this is one of those solutions looking for a problem. -what happens when the corn or peas freeze all clumped up? -if you go down to half a bottle, how do you remove most of the air, so the corn gets less freezer burns?
Two words: Zip lock..
while I'm on the subject, if you want to make frozen veggies last longer in the freezer, freeze them suspended in water (ice).. just portion them up to cup size and freeze in a bag full of water.
This is an overkill. No need to remover the chain for cleaning. when my chain is all caked up with dust and lube, I clean it using WD40 a pain brush, and a hose. I spray the chain, the cassette, the derailleur cogs, and the chain rings with lots of WD40, let it sit for 10 minutes and then rub all the parts with the paint brush, while slowly spinnign teh chain so all parts are cleaned all around. for spots that are a bit more caked up i use more WD40 while brushing. Once all the dirt is loose and mixed with the WD40, I use a hose with a pressure nozzle to rinse everything off. To get rid of most of the water, I spin the chain very fast and more of the water flies away. I use a dry rag to wipe everything off. Since I use WD40 it repels water and the mechanism and chain dry out without rusting..
One trick I learned when using MP3s for ringtones. I edit the sound file in an audio editor (I use GoldWave) and I equalize the sound to match the "capabilities" of the speaker on the phone. I use a High Pass filter to attenuate the bass sound and emphasize the mids and highs and a compressor to decrease the dynamic range of the song.. This makes the ring louder and more noticeable in noisy environments. Then I use ringdroid to make a ring or notification tone..
Some sliding doors (like heavy patio doors) have rails on the bottom too. if you use any oily lub it will collect dust and dirt and gum up. I use Dry Lube that was designed for bicycle chains (ex. White Lightning).. the liquid evaporates and leaves a dry lube powder like graphite or silicone.
the best way is to put a soaking wet towel on the 'effected area" and let is sit for 15 min., the shit will rehydrate and wipe off without scratching..
