"Where are the usual suspects claiming that the numbers are false, hyped, too good to be real, nothing to write home about, not as good as the BB Turd, or what ever it's called?
Come on guys, don't give up so easily - Apple has crushed the opposition, sure, but you can still BS and troll here in an attempt to convince some poor person otherwise..."
"@KLanD: Dude, you need to learn to accept defeat gracefully!
You start of questioning iPhone business app development - and when that's going south for you, you go off in a different track.
Classic troll."
"@KLanD: 8 out of 10 of the top Pharm companies are developing business apps for iPhone.
See S Jobs iPhone 3G presentation - Apple.com
And I see you can't counter the list of companies doing corp app dev on iPhone - just admit it, you made a play and got it wrong because you didn't do your research.
for you RIM = Research Instead of Moaning LMMacAO"
"stick it to the filth!
the rozzers deserve to be taken down a peg or two
the pigs need to go after real criminals IMHO
Peelers should spend the time solving crimes, and not chasing fines
Coppers have an incentive to fine folks, and that's all wrong
PC plod is just speed trap happy these days"
"2.0 Screws up fetch Email though - randomly looses the ability to get Email from POP accounts, just goes into and endless waiting mode requiring an Email App reset or a full iPhone power cycle.
Seems to be widespread, and no fix available at this time :("
"FYI - US Army are featured - they do tons of trivial apps whilst getting shot at...
Sonnenschein are well known for their trivial non business apps (With 700 lawyers and other professionals in 13 US cities)
Genentech already have apps deployed and 2000 employes using iPhones - you know, trivial apps that help the fight against cancer
Top 5 Commercial Banks
Top 5 Security Firms
6 out of 7 of the top Airlines
8 out of 10 of the top Pharmaceutical companies
8 out of 10 of the top Entertainment companies
See, I saved you the effort of proving yourself wrong."
"@KLanD: CNN/Fortune cite 175 F500 companies building apps for iPhone.
[apple20.blogs.fortune.cnn.com]
Sure - they're all going to be non-business, trivial apps - I mean, that's what their IT departments are paid to provide right?
Leading developers such as AOL, Cisco, eBay, Electronic Arts, Epocrates, TypePad, Salesforce.com and Sega have demonstrated impressive native applications developed using the iPhone SDK."
"@slaughter33: You need to watch the Apple presentation given at the iPhone 3G launch - they have a whole section on the business app development, and have folks from a number of F500 companies presenting.
You are making a whole load of incorrect assumptions to support your position.
Understandable, but still wrong."
"@KLanD: If 35% of the F500 are building business Apps for the iPhone, then the iPhone is going to b a big part of corporate America moving forward.
See, I've spelled it out for you so you can grasp the concept."
