Eh, I lived without multitasking and I can live without it again. I'm not upgrading my 3G until Verizon gets an iPhone and if that doesn't happen this year, then I guess I will have my 3G for another year.
I'm not surprised they left out the iPhone 1G. It's too slow to handle all of this, and the battery couldn't take it. As it is, my iPhone 3G can barely handle OS 3.
