Comments from Mr.Wilson Comments from Mr.Wilson Mr.Wilson commented on Second Balloon Man Uses GPS, Kool-Aid To Go Where No Brazilian Priest Has Gone Before I'm mostly amused his last name's rather fitting for it!

Mr.Wilson commented on The T3 Makes a Guy Wearing a Bike Helmet on a Scooter Scary as Hell (staring at front wheel- which reminds me of one of the front wheels of my current movie-car obsession, also amused it's also a military prototype) Does it come in black?

Mr.Wilson commented on Live Photos From the Giz NYC Meetup Those chili dogs look tasty... Well I'm stuck in Washington, and even if I'm not really into sports, I wouldn't mind going if I could, especially to someplace like Coney Island (I should add I've never set foot in the eastern US). I'd probably surprise you guys in one way or another though if I was able to come!

Mr.Wilson commented on BuzzBall Brings the Rollercoaster Experience to Your Backyard Hmm, looks like it's a few steps away from a drivable ball! Until they find a brake system, something tells me people won't want to go wild on these, or they'll be afraid to use them at all!

Mr.Wilson commented on Wall-E Review: One of the Best Sci-Fi Movies in Years, Disguised as a Cartoon @Kaiser-Machead's Chips Ahoy!: Yeah, near cried at some parts (and tried my best not to)!

Mr.Wilson commented on Shagnasty "Model 666" is Fake Plastic Steampunked Nerf Pistol @Kaiser-Machead's Chips Ahoy!: Hellboy was the first thing that came to mind, looks like a souped-up Samaritan (in case you're wondering, found the proper name for it on a replica website).

Mr.Wilson commented on Wall-E Animator Tops Everyone Who Ever Wanted to Make a LEGO Wall-E Ah, but can you make his eyes do that sort of "look, repaired, see?" move? You need to watch the movie to know what I mean! I realize what he means by the eyes, though. Agh, I'm going to probably get interested in the movie toys, now!

Mr.Wilson commented on Wall-E Review: One of the Best Sci-Fi Movies in Years, Disguised as a Cartoon Saw it earlier today... Loved it! I think undoubtedly it's going to become a favorite of mine. Actually got me teary-eyed a lot more often than I've ever gotten over a movie, it's really funny and cute.

Mr.Wilson commented on Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Lego Aht, Tumbler, not "Rambler"! Eh, I'm guessing you're last note is supposed to explain why no tips as to what cars they're going to make next and so on. That tire production fact is rather amusing, though. But it's like how Mattel got the record for most clothing produced.@LindsayJoy's MBP is into S+M: What do you have against Goodyear?

Mr.Wilson commented on Google Street View Car Drives Into Microsoft Campus, Gets Laughed At By Windows Live Maps @shamoononon has a hebetudinous dog: Same thing happens to me often and nearly daily, only today it seems to be playing nice to me...
Hmm, wonder what kind of reconnaissance they thought they were doing?

Mr.Wilson commented on Nike Finally Releasing Back to the Future Part II McFly Sneakers, Sort Of Well, I'll admit I'm happy someone other than the model builders are still interested in my favorite movie series! I'm just unhappy that the movie logo's nowhere on there (the 2015, background time circuit readouts, and arrows kill the idea of it being a subtle "real product" replica, it that's what they tried), and the designs on both shoes aren't the same and mirrored (same reason I just frown at the logos on my Puma shoes)! Given those flaws weren't there, I'd have to say I'd snoop around for them! I'd I wonder if this is for that movie-based design set of shoes?

Mr.Wilson commented on Spray on Skin Gun Shoots Stem Cells To Heal Your Open Wounds Hmm, Mr. Dent can't stay pissed off about his burns for long if this gets out, now can he?

Mr.Wilson commented on Lego Blade Runner Spinner Car Limited Edition One of One Wow, they made it for him? They even mixed the usual Technic stuff with the bricks by the looks of it- even Bionicle typical pieces, look at the wheel covers! @Leonard Nimrod: My current Tumbler obsession just made me realize that.

Mr.Wilson commented on What Kind Of Super-Rich Car Buyer Would You Be? Hmm, hard to think up who'd match my type of taste... All I can say is I'd certainly want some customs, replicas which can vary from a Chaparral 2D and sure as hell has to include a Tumbler replica; given I could get it , a bunch of hydrogen powered versions of my favorites, like a superpowered DeLorean, a modified Morris Mini, I could go on and on.

Mr.Wilson commented on 12-Year-Old Wins Dodge Caliber For Going To School And the dumbasses out here in Washington only give you some jerky for perfect attendance in the high school.... But then again they couldn't afford a wheel! Bill Gates is the only reason that school looks so spick and span now.

Mr.Wilson commented on Dog Made Adorably Bionic With Model Airplane Wheels Hmm, looks a little too simple, with Hope looking stuck on the floor in the other video. All I could say is add springs, but I don't even know if that'd work. I'm just glad those buttons on the end of the wheel arm only make it look like it's bolted on the dog!

Mr.Wilson commented on Dynamic Tower Skyscraper: Every Floor Self-Rotates, Powered by Wind and Sun Voice-activated, huh? Does a "Don't you bloody dare!!" activate a movement lock by chance? I'm pretty sure at least one unlucky acrophobe'd like that feature!

Mr.Wilson commented on How a 730-Ton Ball Kept the Second Tallest Building From Falling During the Chinese Earthquake Stabesticle? Very weird to see everyone in there looking nonchalant as the ball moves and the eartquakes doing damage outside!

Mr.Wilson commented on Lego Secret Vault Contains All Sets In History Aww, how cute! I even think the train my uncle had that introduced me to Legos was that last box shown! Well, I'm glad you picked that song, since I'm thinking of something that can get me teary eyed just hearing a specific version of it (though it seems random for Legos, but I heard a musicbox version in a toystore and it seemed so fitting). Now you've made me want to find my old Legos in my toy containers and get some new sets!

Mr.Wilson commented on The Breast Motion Power Generator is a Genius Idea Boing-ee, Boing-ee! Odd thing's I honestly can say I only laughed for a second about this, even with the good doctor's fitting name mentioned. How come a certain person who I'd expect to respond to this hasn't?

Mr.Wilson commented on IxTEE Toy Guns Are Working Toy Guns For Your Toys @Purple Dave: Noticed that too! I was going to say maybe it's something you can take apart, with all the random bits in the list, but apparently not.

Mr.Wilson commented on 750,000-Brick Kennedy Space Center Is the Mother of All Lego Models @NASAMan: Ah, okay. Find it an odd way to shorten things down to describe the full action, but I get it.

Mr.Wilson commented on 750,000-Brick Kennedy Space Center Is the Mother of All Lego Models "Do not hump"? Is it just me or does it seem like somebody of the extreme Lego fan mindset works for them? Not me complaining, the idea of a tank car just loitering around that massive space center set with that built into the side of it makes me laugh! It reminds me of a couple of weeks ago when I saw the shuttle launch on the NASA channel.

Mr.Wilson commented on Iron Man and Dark Knight Collectibles Are Super-Detailed Comic Book Hotness @tehdahl: Of course you could always deduct which way given the note the designers wanted the "handles" to protect his arms, but I don't think anybody really pays attention to them talking about it. But the decapitated head does give it away! I'd love to mess around with the Tumbler model. I'm expecting triple digits with all the spiffy details...

Mr.Wilson commented on Can Old-School Jewish Humor Survive in the Future? Jewish humor? Didn't know the stuff from the movie could be labeled as that. I didn't mind it at all, but apparently everybody wants what I'd think is bad, which is a complete revamp of old favorites. Might be good for Batman, with how campy the old versions were, Bond too (though I'm pissed I haven't seen a single believable gadget yet), but I'm surprised people aren't appreciating the nostalgia bit of this sort of stuff (even if I wasn't around to watch the old tv series that it's based on)!

Mr.Wilson commented on Lego Airbus A380 Is Biggest Lego Airplane in the World Whoa, not only is it longer than I am tall, but maybe heavier! Knew it was Legoland material just looking at it, the people models gave it away.

Mr.Wilson commented on A Quick Glimpse of Tokyo Toy Show 2008 I like the Aerospider, and the clever spinning action, but it can go from horizontal to vertical, right? Of course traversing a bunch of corners is a lot harder, but by the looks of this tech, I wouldn't be surprised!

Mr.Wilson commented on 3,800-Piece Death Star Diorama Is Coolest Star Wars Lego Ever @LindsayJoy's MBP is into S+M:
Aww, twas? Well, I haven't been keeping an eye out for new Lego sets since that moment in time where I got a good look at the upcoming sets, and yeah, I'm new. Just surprised no one else seems to get as much of a kick out of the SWFLBATTH (Sharks for short) set!

Mr.Wilson commented on Disney's Innoventions Dream Home is a Big Ad For Microsoft and HP...But I Still Want It Is it just me, or other than the mirror and Peter Pan room, it seems awfully boring? Where's the witricity? The spiffy video game attachments? The window screens? And in Innoventions? Thought they were making a new building for this, not taking out all the stuff in the show building! (Glimpses at mirror pic) and I'd only be impressed with that thing if it managed to give me a pinstripe tux.

Mr.Wilson commented on 3,800-Piece Death Star Diorama Is Coolest Star Wars Lego Ever Ah, now you guys find this. Saw it on Brickshelf a day or so ago, when my mind was stuck on looking for what Lego could make. And did anybody see the sharks with freaking laser beams attached to their heads in one of those new Agents sets? They also have a Grievous model coming out, not as spiffy as I'd like, but good enough.
@Monty: Not like I know whether or not you'd have a chance, but now it's obvious- "No cookies for you!"
I'd rather have the whole confection though. (cheekily grins)

Mr.Wilson commented on Galactic Empire Cloning Stormtroopers in Lego Factory For some reason, I can't see the video! Anybody know what a square with a black dot in the middle means?

Mr.Wilson commented on Insider Vid Shows WowWee Femisapien Fembot Knows All the Moves Wait, so this is from WowWee? Odd. MSNBC kept calling these "Robot Girlfriends"!

Mr.Wilson commented on Speed Racing Motorcycle Inspired By Aliens Am I the only one here irked by the name? And I realized it's "Indian" the company, not the nationality, the latter which might've had a reason to let that slip. But it's a sports bike, not a Alfa BAT 9 look-alike! Can't see how to fit into it, and the camo paint job puzzles me, makes me think about the Tumbler.

Mr.Wilson commented on $25 iDance WALL-E Is One Seizuriffic Lil' Bot I had to crack up, with the way the idance version's dancing like mad ("Duka, duka, duka, duka!" oddly comes to mind), and the robotic version's acting like a neglected pet! The robotic version still interests me, stingy controls or not. What's playing, anyways?

Mr.Wilson commented on What Do You Want to Ask LEGO? @LindsayJoy's MBP is into S+M: Oh, you have it? Hmm, maybe I just found a lousy picture of it, since the set didn't look as neat as that. If the sets that site was talking about are coming out so fast, I wonder where that VW is.

Mr.Wilson commented on What Do You Want to Ask LEGO? @Kaiser-Machead's got LindsayJoy's cookies on the SuperDrive: They do have a Lego Tumbler coming out, but it's probably no where near as detailed and multi-featured as you want it. Weirdest thing's it's supposed to be sold with all the other Batman sets, no special movie sets, and I think the Joker minifig with it's not the movie version either!
As for what I'd like made, I know they're finally moving forward on actual car models (Think they said a VW Beetle's coming soon), and I'm glad for that, but how about a DeLorean!? Pretty sure people'd get a kick out of that! Of course the easiest way to sum up what I'm leading to from that is simply stating "Back to the Future" (the ride version of the time machine'd be cute too). I could think of some wild wishes though- the California versions of the Haunted Mansion and Tower of Terror, maybe some other Disney park related stuff (the transports from the Indiana Jones ride'd be cool), Morris Mini perhaps, etc.

Mr.Wilson commented on New Coaster Doesn't Screw Around, Features 97 Degree Drop Looks like the Xcelerator with the launched rise removed, and a lot wilder track to go through after the drop. I'm not one for coasters anything like this, but I have to admit they fascinate me! Thought I've seen one from Spain (or Brazil, forgot which) that had the lift like this one, but it seemed more interesting for some reason, forgot exactly why.

Mr.Wilson commented on The Ten Craziest Concept Cars Of All Time The Suzuki truck looks like something I'll be nearly careening into if I ever get my hands on a DeLorean time machine and travel to the future. Does anybody else nearly automatically picture the Bat's headlights flipped upside down, a cut top, and a long middle nose? Just a peculiar observation.

Mr.Wilson commented on Google Maps Driving Simulator Lets You 'Drive' Anywhere Well, I liked it for a bit, then I got pissed off how hard it is to drive it. Steering's only good for if you're trying to fake parking the thing! And the non-Google version of this seems a lot more well polished.
