"@GMFish: Just because she was wrong about it being cancer, it was still a pre-existing condition that caused her to go get it checked out. If I get dizzy spells, go get insurance to make sure I don't have a brain tumor, get all sorts of tests done, then find out I was just dizzy, it's still something that happened to me before I had insurance that caused me to go in for all the tests, even though there was no pathology to the symptom."
