Probably a full merger.
Helio operates on Sprint's network so im guessing that sprint has some of Helio's stock to keep it on its feet.

IDK hopefully if they merge they wont adopt all of virgin mobile's lame ass phones. And i thought that virgin mobile was property of sprint. Maybe im just late.

Probably like 100MB every time.
Or maybe it'll use your realtime upload speed instead of the slower speed that your ISP gives you.
But jeah i think this is smart tho. i'd do it if i needed this.
Till then i'd rather buy a western digital ext. hdd and back up every day.

Well i think that if they are going to do a side by side comparison in anything they should have a phone that is atleast close to the same size because screen area is very important and that samsung looks kind of cramped.
And atleast they showed the samsung taking a while to open up the app.
I kind of wouldn't mind being on sprint's network they're doing things to get themselves out of the gutter.
As for this 100M dollars being spent i say they should lower that down to 25M or 10M which is good enough to get a couple thousand customers.
Im not saying millions cuz well no company in that position is going to make a comeback that big without a couple of users being safe about going back.

@Mayor McRib: Nah i think that they want to kick in the network so they can work out any early kinks.
It is a smart move though.
Because they're trying to take the stress off of their EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks/servers. This is a smart move but this means technically that if you get a dual-band 3G phone that suppports reg. 3G and HSDPA you could get 3G data off of t-mo.
It isnt that bad because that means that t-mo will be releasing a 3G sidekick hopefully in the near future or atleast upgrade it to EDGE.
I hope this 3G network is out by mid-summer so i can enjoy 3G speeds in the summer and also browse the internet while in the middle of class. x]

@Silent_Shark: Well the touch diamond does have a 528mhz processor compared to the xperia's 512mhz processor (i think it has 512mhz)
Im sticking to the xperia tho unless one of these phones sweep the floor with the xperia.

@TendoMentis: Yu actually can see what network you're on if you have a touchscreen WM6 phone.
I can see when im on EDGE GSM or GPRS.
I just hope that the Data is released by June. I think that the 3G should be released by June because thats when the xperia is set to come out and the HTC Touch Dual should be on T-Mo by then because supposedly its hitting shelves in the US in may.

Well if they really want to save energy why dont they push for a solar powersupply.
Or a UPS that is charged off of solar power or something like that???
Jeah they dont want us to conserve energy if they did they would push for things like that to be made that dont break our wallets either.
And my computer is off for i'd have to say atleast 12h a day. And when its on for more than 12h its cuz well im playing music, games, and chatting all @ the same time while my AC is on, my fan, and my TV.
But then again i do recycle and im only @ home for about 10h a day. And i only do that on the sunday's i feel like staying at home then the rest of the week im contributing to helping lower the amount of condoms in pharmacy stores trying to stop this uprising..........lolx.

Thats good. Im guessing AT&T MoTV wont be sending out anything above 480p.
I doubt that AT&T's servers can handle sending 1080p shows or even 1080i shows or movies off of their data network.
I know it has a good 3G network and all but still that'll put their servers under a lot of stress.
Now jeah i know which 3G phone is goin2 support 1080p or 1080i but like the first post said people would like to be able to put their AT&T 3G network card into their laptop and watch MoTV on their laptop.
(i abbreviated Mobile TV to MoTV just stating the obvious)

without a doubt if acer wants to they could make this phone as kick ass as can be.
since they bought a past PDA maker they wont have any issue putting WM6 a less demanding OS than xp or vista into a smartphone.
Hopefully acer comes out hard and makes us proud.
Why cant we see an alienware smartphone. That'd be something i'd pay $400+ for or a voodoo smartphone.
in a perfect world we would've seen that a while back.

Its way more likely that they will bundle up with sprint.
Comcast is about speed (according to them) and well EV-DO on sprint's network being run off of the mogul is super fast.
And didnt comcast in the past want to buddy up with sprint to help the push for wimax smoother.
I think comcast will in the end buy out sprint. One because sprint is way cheaper than t-mobile and because sprint has less customers, less innovation, with those blazing fast speeds.
(im assuming sprint is cheaper because sprint has less customers than t-mo last time i checked.)
It wouldn't be that bad to have comcast own sprint because then sprint would most definetly have an easier time setting up their wimax network because comcast could just claim their upgrading their servers in residential areas and just put in wimax towers.
I think t-mobile will have most competition for users with t-mobile because the rumor of the t-mo 3G release will be in may and they're going to be releasing HSDPA supposedly right after 3G takes off.
I wonder who wins.
im rooting for sprint but i want t-mo tobile win because im a loyal customer.

I guess asus's pc (i forget what its called (the mac mini imposters thats way bigger) finally got some worthy competition.
Hopefully dell doesnt give people crappy ass hardware. And low specs that cant even play a movie.
I doubt it though if its going to have a lot of hype im sure they'll try their hardest to impress us.
And if anythign they'll probably have an adapter for fans if the thing ever gives any issues for overheating.

It does seem as if they're showing a before and after type thing because the one under the touch is relatively slim.
Also the phone under the shadow was referred to as the shadow 2 which t-mobile is supposed to be releasing soon.
And with the microsoft supposedly pushing to have the minimum requirements to run the WM OS higher maybe HTC decided to make a new AT&T phone i think its called TyTN aka Kasier or Tilt so it would be able to run all that bloatware AT&T packs into it and the new WM6.1 without that much strain on the actual hardware ending in a better user experience.

Thats the dumbest thing i've heard come out of washington yet. For that they could just update the software of the EDGE network in the US.
I only see a company that's ad-based like google or yahoo or maybe even mozilla that way they'll make a ton of money advertising on their network while getting even more popular and become a household name MAYBE because of their free wireless service.
Thats stupid though and i agree with what you said that they could just run a compressed version of dail-up via copper wire. Or they could take it a step further and not live in the past and make it a fiber optic network and make it the required 300kbps. 300kbps is slow though that'd be like a 1kbps download speed in actual time. Well thats what you'll probably be seeing.

YAY! now when is the xperia coming out again. I really cant wait till June now. If i dont get the xperia after reading the review of the HTC touch dual i fell in love with it and thats going to be my next phone if i dont get the xperia x1.
To tell you the truth 400mhz processor of the dual and the 500mhz processor of the xperia im not going to be missing the wing at all.

I currently have 3 tv's
One is 36" Sony
Another is 42" Panasonic
And the Last is 52" Sony Wega
I want to trade in the 36" for a Plasma tv with 1080p or if someone finally releases 1200p i'll buy that too =]
Even though i dont use my tv that much if i do get a plasma im going to hook my computer up to it directly so i can watch all that content on my hard drives on my new hdtv.

Its what you'd expect.
Dell was at its climax a couple years back and now since they were "good" and extremely popular they still are popular and people will buy n-e thing that says dell on it.
They need to rennovate not innovate.
Wth were they thinking coming out with that screen.
I mean look what they did with the Dell XPS 1.....They actually got apple to say it was a better desktop. { if i remember right)
Now apple's not the best but dell is no where near better. They're in the same group but just different performance grades.

I think that SP1 for vista came early but late at the same time. I see vista getting up to SP3 before XP gets to SP4.
Thats kind of sad too.
Vista actually wasnt THAT bad for me i find that Vista ran a bit better than XP originally after i got the hang of it.
Well on XP again i'll get the hang of this too eventually. =]
It is a work in progress and it has a lot of potential but they need to slim it down substantially.

@cherubsta: Even if apple offers a better user experience consider this.
You cant build a gaming rig and install mac os x without knowing what you're doing software wise.
Tons of gamers dont know squat about software or OS's but they could sure tell you which graphics card is best and what ram fits best and how much your FPS is going to be without even using a program to tell you that much.
Truth is mac may be good but dont speak for other people. I wont switch to a mac till im getting my masters. Want to know why??? Because currently Mac's are really good but if you're a software nerd like me and know how to change and edit things without that much problem then hey windows works just as well.
Or maybe it might just be that your windows hard ware just sucks.
With what you spend on a mac you could spend on a Vista desktop or a XP desktop for that matter and upgrade it further than a mac could probably ever be upgraded.
Even further than Mac upgrades their Mac Pro.

Maybe cuz those things weren't birds. They were close enough to be infront of the wood. Those were probably flies or some kind of fast flying insect.
IDK it looked cool and at first i thought that doesnt sound like bees at all till it got to 200mph.
And the wind the rc was making made the flag go that fast or it breaking the air around it. have you ever been passed by a car at 20mph compared to one going at 60mph compared to one going at 100mph+ big difference in the wind.

My xp isn't as great as vista is but give it a week and it should be up and running faster than vista was. If not then im going to remove the 2gb's of ram and stay with 512 for an hour then reinsall the 2gb and enjoy the 2.5GB goodness. =]

@Simpsons-Movie-ruled: First there actually arent that many crying babies as before. Well last couple of flights i've taken ( i usually fly around 4 times a year ).
I'd love to have a wifi capability on the plane. I would not want to see how much t-mobile would charge me for making a transatlantic phone call.
Or Transpacific.
Now of course not everyone's phone will be compatible but i think that there will be a couple of people that will take advantage and exploit this while having conversations as if they're the only person on the plane interupting people's sleep.
The end is that i think it shouldn't be banned but they should have calling rooms or calling lounges or something of the sort so that everyone wont be interrupted.

@nutbastard: I think giz may be working to say goodbye to their apple sponser but look at the amount of posts giz has been getting recently more than 100 for more than one post daily.
Giz is becoming more popular.
I dont think that jobs is evil just money hungry and willing to prove that apple flopped but its not happening again well for now atleast because everything is possible.
Remember when Microsoft was worth $100B then the stocks dropped substantially.
This may or may not happen with apple.
I'll be the first to say i love what Mac has been doing and they know what they're doing. They should take it easy though because remember when we were all happy with microsoft and then look at them now.
Apple rocks in a different way. Mac may never become a bad OS but apple will get tired out soon if they dont stop exploiting their consumers.
From when vista first came out i was wanting a mac for a while but then now im not looking to buy a mac im looking to buy a vista laptop.
All in all he's not evil he just exploits in a synical way or somewhat synical way.

@daftrok: Well you have to consider that this guy probably used his old worn out moped or probably found that thing at a junk yard and dropped a bit of money for his experiment.
I agree with the post if you have a standard air compressor you could put a couple of tanks on your roof or on your balcony and compress all of the polluted air and reuse it.
Im sure this thing doesnt have any emissions because its reusing air.
So im this will also help clean the air because it will take polluted air and put it in containers and give the enviornment less of a workload to convert to clean O2

If you press the button on an elevator it closes appx. 3-5 seconds later. 10-15 seconds later if they door has been opened for quite a bit of time.

Thats crazy. I doubt that they'd put that machine on the market without doing something about the amount of heat that's going to be emitted.
With all of that running it'd be amazing if you get any good battery life but im sure they've thought of a smart bay type replaceable battery like the fiends at alienware pc.
Also it's the second laptop i hear of with 1200p display.
( since its a 1920x1200 resolution screen that makes it 1200p )
Go Asus kick some ass out there.
Maybe more speed less heat???
Or more speed less storage???
I'd take a faster processor over more storage space any day. ANY DAY

It looks super swift and responsive. Except for the loading times but that happens on any type of map.
I'd love to see this in other colors.
And i think it'd be way better on a hybrid view or even a city view.
And looking at that coverage alone not even looking at the surface table itself made me want to switch to AT&T but im happy with T-Mo for now. All we need is that damn 3G coverage.

I think that its really cool. Im guessing that when he presses a button for a system that the one board turns off and lets the other play. It would be real hot if you could play all 4 games on a 4 way divided screen or on 4 tv's or picture in picture.
