SpaceCat85 commented on McDonald's Won't Sell You A "Large" Coke Because It's "Breakfast",
at 1:10 PM on May 7
Alright, I go to McDonalds maybe once a year so the question I have when reading this is: wouldn't it cause less confusion on both sides to charge accordingly for the "correct" size cup (e.g., a small cup=a small drink) and just not sell drinks like OJ in larger sizes?
Coffee would be exempt from this scenario because it comes in its own special cups, of course, but IMHO it doesn't make sense to sell a medium as a "large", etc.

IMO, not typing two spaces after a period is a more important typo to focus on for everyday computer users than the myriad of short dashes because it actually appears in many touch-type training programs as the "correct" way of doing things!

If Adobe any more complacent, they'll turn into Quark...ever have to get a new 20+ character activation code over the phone from them to reactivate software you paid $800 for (or more, if you factor in previous versions) and depend on for your livelihood?

One of the few times I agree with the hotels' side of things...tobacco smoke really does like to permeate everything, so it must be a real pain to get that smell out of furniture and other parts of the room that can't just be run through the wash.

@scandy: Possibly Adium or Proteus (which recently resumed development), though AFAIK they don't cover advanced IM features like video chat.

I haven't had one actually fry on me, but I do have to agree that the thinner MagSafe cord on the power adapter sucks.

This is nothing new for HP and OS X, unfortunately.
I used to have issues with an old HP deskjet 5550 with an add-on duplexing unit that would "break" every time I installed a major upgrade.
